An optimist is every way and probably the friendliest person you’ll ever meet, Vesna is just an overall good person. She always has a nice thing to say to everyone and hardly has any mean bones in her body. Vesna is that friend you can count on to cheer you up and encourage and motivate you. She's the kind of person that strikes up a conversation with strangers, can cry with them and laugh with them, all within a half hour. It's nearly impossible not to smile with Vesna around.
Strong of mind and strong of body, this girl can be tough. She is sturdy emotionally, and doesn’t let things bother her or get to her. Vesna takes on people’s problems and shoulders their burdens without complaint. Her body is also strong. Vesna is a great long distance runner and stays in peak physical condition. Over the years she's grown a great pain tolerance. She can break an arm and still keep smiling, because she doesn’t want people to worry. The problem is her bullheadedness. She has a hard time backing down from anything, especially an argument or a fight. Most of all she doesn't know how to quit things. Vesna will keep at something until she feels she’s perfected it, even at the cost of damaging her body. Her body has many scars to prove her tenacity, and is sure to gain many more in her life.
Everything she does, she does whole heartedly. Vesna is a person ruled by her heart, and feels very intensely about things. Her kindness is free of ulterior motives, and never does she seek to use anyone or anything for personal gain. She's a dependable person, and someone you want on your side because she will defend you to the death. If you make a friend out of Vesna you are getting a friend for life, and a friend you can always count on. She puts a 100% into everything because she wants nothing more than to improve to be a better asset to people. The needs of others are usually put before her own. When people are depending on her she rises to the challenge and shines. There’s a drive in her to get things right and to perfect them and to continue learning all she can.
Though not quick to get angry, push her enough and she explodes. She has no tolerance to being bullied or being pushed around, and will stand her ground. It comes as more of a surprise since she’s so quiet, but cross her once and you won’t want to again. Everything she kept in explodes out and she can reduce even the toughest to tears. Rarely does she feel bad about it either, if you caused her to snap you earned every word she says. Vesna tends to get a little violent when angered but most never see this side of her.
Vesna is nearly fearless, and bravely does what others wouldn’t. It could be her naivety or stupidity, but you have to admit, the girl has nerves of steel. She lacks the healthy sense of fear people have and dives into battles without a second thought. Vesna faces every challenge with a smile, and sees the opportunity rather than the difficulty. As a girl she ran wild, doing everything the boys did and beyond, proving her worth among them. All their pranks she just brushed off with a smile. It really takes a lot to rattle her. Death is not something to be feared to her, but something she accepts as her fate, regardless of how early it comes.
The one word people use to describe her after kind would be oblivious. There is many times she has no idea what’s truly going on. Often than not Vesna reads the atmosphere wrong in the room. It's hit or miss on reading people, sometimes when she's oblivious it can help her see through facades, other times she's clueless. Always lost in her head, Vesna is a quiet girl but one that likes to be surrounded by people. With friends she can get rowdy but she isn’t one to be overly loud. She’s a better listener than speaker and prefers to let others talk or talk about them than talk about herself as well.
Three Choices For Positions:
Seven of clubs: Despite the fact that Vesna is pretty spacey she has the heart of lion and can be a very brave and capable warrior. She is and always will be prepared to lay down her life for her kingdom. Everyone starts off somewhere and she would have began as a squire for an older brother or uncle, eventually joining the army herself when she became of age. Physically and mentally strong, Vesna is an ideal soldier with enormous will power and fortitude. Her specialty would be archer, supporting from the back. The camaraderie and brotherhood is what she would enjoy most about the military though, these would be her her brothers and sisters in arms, her family. Unfortunately she would go against orders to save a comrade in danger if she knew she could save them but she would take the punishment with her head held high. She would be one of the soldiers with some medic knowledge, since you can't drag around a squishy doctor on dangerous missions.
Three of Clubs: I always default on making Vesna a performer. She likes to see people happy and would probably be in the circus or perform for the court. I'm playing around with different backgrounds, and in this case she would have been a street kid, who learned how to survive, evade and run. The circus was the only place that would take her and other street kids in, putting them to hard but meaningful work. After years of blood, sweat and tears she would finally be an acrobat. I could see her taking on a more motherly role here, taking care of the street kids in the circus like the other senior performers did for her years ago.
Six of Clubs: She may not be the swiftest but Vesna is a smart girl, and very practical. She would make a good healer, whether it was in the village or in the castle. Healing arts would be something she learned from her mother and grandmother, a tradition the women in her family carry on. Nurturing and kind by nature, she wants to help everyone and is a quick study. Determined and stubborn, she would spend a lot of time learning to be the best healer she can be. Either a field medic or working in the castle for the King and Queen as their personal healer would fit Vesna.
