Personality: Quiet and intelligent are the first two things people will say when they think of Lukas. He's hesitant to speak, always thinking his words out thoroughly before saying them, and he's also secretive, not liking people to know about his past. He's indifferent and emotionless, some people may wonder what he's really thinking. He comes off as disinterested, but in actuality he pays close attention to his surroundings. If anything, the man is just a mystery, even to those who know him pretty well.
Three Choices For Positions:
- Jack of Spades; Lukas is hardworking and someone who will do what he can to make sure everything is running smoothly. He will think decisions through while trying to keep things in check. He would keep an eye on the castle, fixing any problems that might come up, hopefully before the King and Queen find out about it and/or the situation gets worse. If there were to be an argument between any of the other Royals, he would stay neutral and would try to help resolve the argument as best as he can without taking sides. The reason I chose the suit spades was that Spades is the seafaring kingdom, and Norway relies on the resources "in" their waters, mostly oil and natural gas though fishing is still big there. Also, Spades imply responsibility and this role would show that Lukas is a responsible person. He would have gotten this position by taking over after the previous Jack. Bloss has a strong preference for this option.
- Five of Spades; If not a Jack, I can imagine Lukas being a five. He can be caring, even if he doesn't show his emotions. He's also protective of the people he cares about, though at times it might not show it. He is one to follow orders, being silent as he does. He wouldn't speak unless spoken to, unless the situation calls for otherwise. He would have moved down from a Six. I think this might be a good position for him since it would bring out his more caring side, even if he might not show it in straight out black and white. He would do what he could for whichever Royal he is assigned to, ready to help them in whatever way he can.

History:
Both of his parents being an Eight, it would only make sense for him to become an Eight. Well, that's what his parents had thought. They had big hopes for him, but how they think of him now is something he'd rather not think about. He's perfectly content with his current rank, enjoying far more than whatever life he could have had if he stayed in his original rank. How he got down to a Six is not something he would bring up himself, nor would he ever wish to speak of it. As far as he's concerned, he was and always will be a Six.
If someone bothered trying to dig deep enough, they would find that Lukas belongs to one of the more higher ranked noble houses. His parents were as demanding as they come, shaping him to become the perfect child in their eyes. To them, that was something along the lines of "children should be seen, not heard", so he wasn't allowed to speak much when there was company in the house. If anyone didn't know better, it's easily possible to assume he was mute until they first hear him speak. He always spoke softly, taking pauses between his sentences. He always tried to find the right things to say, since it was probably best to not embarrass his parents by saying something ridiculous.
As he grew older, he became more distant. He didn't find the life of an Eight to be fulfilling, instead he thought it to be quite the opposite. He spent most of his time in his room reading instead of socializing with other nobles. His parents weren't happy with this, and pushed him to try and make "friends". He gave into their wishes from time to time, though he didn't make much effort to get to know whoever his parents threw his way. He lived a fairly sheltered life, which is probably a reason why he got sick easily as a child.
In his younger years, it wasn't uncommon to see a Six enter and leave the house every so often. Lukas practically grew up with one by his side, since he wasn't the most healthiest of children. Because of the experiences he had while years passed, he became more and more interested in the field of medicine. The rank of a Six, even if lower than where he currently stood, was far more appealing as time went on.
