Passionate: She pours her heart out into anything she does. She's got a strong heart and an equally strong will. If she gets rejected, she'll get right back up and try again. She's not the mopey kind of girl, she'll pick right back up and keep trying, even if it appears impossible. Sometimes, it just isn't good because if she ends up hitting the dead end so many times. It makes her a bit colder but she always will pick back up... eventually. She'll fight for what she believes is rightfully hers, and she's not going to back down.
Condescending: She can look at you and find five different faults in a minute. She's judgmental and will often look down on you as her first impression. It's a natural reaction of hers and she will not restrain herself. Of course, her position in society calls for her to pretend that she's admiring you, but really, she's criticizing your every move.
Affectionate: Despite appearances, she can be very affectionate to those she values and trusts. It's rare to see her be affectionate for anybody, but really, this girl will give you one-hundred percent of her trust and her caring. Her affection for some people, though, can blind her from what they really are, making her mental image of them perfect. She probably isn't strong enough to be the upfront hero of the country and dealer of other domains as the King could be, but as the Queen, she could take care of domestic affairs, the affairs of home. With clear manipulation, she'd be able to uphold her position and she would know how to get her way. Though she won't be known as the beloved of the people initially, she truly loves the people she would rule, and she'll make sure things end up right for them to the fullest extent of her powers. Her powers would be vast enough to do as she believes she sees fit for the Kingdom. If the King were ever to be doing his job improperly, she would actually be the kind of person to be able to pull strings from behind the scenes. Of course, her cynical nature will somewhat get in the way of a certain optimism that leaders require, but with a guarded nature, she knows how to read the situation and knows how to go about a situation. She'll think before she acts and that is just what a leader needs to do. To have the necessary concern for their domain and to be able to think things through in order to do what is best.
♠ She doesn't like backing down, yes, but as a handmaiden, she would be able to serve the leader that she would put her loyalties to. Considering that she would probably be loyal to the Queen she serves, she will serve this Queen with the fullness of her heart and tend to this Queen's every need. HISTORY:
Miss Natalya Arlovskaya believes that she was born to do bigger things, and that she simply was placed by fate in the wrong place in the wrong standing, and that eventually, she would be put in her rightful place, wherever that was supposed to be. Her beauty does not seem fit to only be a handmaiden, and her wits most certainly would be able to fill positions above her current state. Of course, she could have been a bit unluckier and been born in a lower position, but this position would do for now.
Her belief isn't too far off, though. The parents she grew up with weren't her real parents, and she had never met her real siblings. She was to be born into a noble family, but through a dramatic turn of events, she was detained and thought dead by her real family in order to destroy the sex scandal and love child drama. It is ironic, that a girl born out of love, has trouble with the very topic. If she was kept and raised with that family, she would have been a noble, but alas, she was cast down to the position she has now and was hidden away in the Kingdom of Spades. However, the placement in this Kingdom was something that seemed right. This girl is a fighter.
She grew up with parents ranked Threes, her father a blacksmith and a high quality crafter of knives, daggers, and swords, her mother an expert dressmaker. She grew up prettier than that stepmother, daintier and lovely. However, her personality would never quite match up to those of nobles. Her mannerisms could be just as rough as the peasantry she grew up around, something she would use to survive. She would grow reserved as she realized that these weren't her real parents and due to the fact that the town that she lived in was isolated and did not have many people her age.
In order to escape the boring life that she would inevitably inherit, she would grow addicted to stories of the outside, stories of the glamour of the kingdoms and castles, of the big cities and the princes, of knights in shining armor, and even grow an attachment to the kingdom she had originally come from, the Kingdom of Clubs. It would be an unconscious attachment, but an attachment nonetheless.
She had to figure out her way to the castles she so yearned to be in, to figure out a way to get out of the boring little town. And so, she was able to squirm her way into a position first as a castle servant, and soon bringing her way to handmaiden. She would have preferred to be the Handmaiden to the Queen, but instead was assigned to the Ace... and what an interesting position that has been.
